The city of Goslar in Germany is to be found in the UNESCO World Heritage List. It wasn’t bombed during WWII so the medieval center with its beautiful wooden houses is well preserved. There is also an interesting medieval Palace as well as old silver mines to be visited but I didn’t have time for them and only wandered in the streets, enjoying the sunny weather along with the relatively few other tourists who were there.
In the photo you can see the house of the Siemens family which was built in 1693.
